Recon3D PCIe + Wrath Tactic3d Headset Mic not found

I needed a new headset, and decided to upgrade my soundcard at the same time, and opted for two Creative products -

Recon3d Souncard,
(Wrath) Tactic3d Wireless Headset

Try as I might, though, I can't get the soundcard to recognise that I actually have a mic. Windows does - I can use it as a recording source, etc. but because the souncard's control panel doesn't I can't use noise reduction, etc.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

The sound card doesn't recognize the mic, because it's not plugged into the soundcard. The headset is an audio device with it's own drivers.

^ That is it exactly. That headset is wireless USB therefore it would have nothing to do with the soundcard what so ever.

That's a shame. The noise reduction from it's own drivers is terrible in that case... I'll need to look and see if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for the feedback...!
