Hi. I have a M.2 Sata with Windows 10 and a HDD 1 TB for data.
I replaced the M.2 Sata with a NVMe.
In the section of the Windows 10 installer (USB) where you select the partition you want to install de OS, there was the NVMe and the HDD.
Accidentally I formatted the HDD (I had tons of data).
Went back to the M.2 Sata, which has Windows, and of course the HDD appears without partition (in disk administrator of Windows or in Mini Tool Partition Wizard).
As the HDD was and is in perfect conditions, I asume I can recover the files with a software.
Can anyone recommend me any software to recover the data? Or you think I lost it?
Now I'm running Stellar Data Recovery and Disk Drill. After that, I'll try with some soft from Hiren's Boot.
The Mini Tool Data Recovery won't work because it says my HDD is with BitLocker. The funny thing is if I search for "BitLocker" in Control Panel or in Configuration or in Start of Windows, it doesn't come up with anything, weird.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
i've used Recuva in the past for data recovery and had some luck.
was still some corrupted data but the majority of files were still intact.

a very good reason to start keeping backups of all important data.
larger HDDs and even SSDs have been getting cheaper over the years.

Thanks. Recuva was on of my thoughts.
Yes, but I'll try with some Cloud instead.

Thanks!
