Question recover files from usb showing empty drive

i have this usb with important files in it but windows can't read it
the weird thing is right when i plug it in all the files show up but after a loading they all disapear

tested it on two pc's, same result
and i don't have a backup (not even mine really)

well depend on how important the data is. could try professional data recover service.
but for usb flash drive, if it failed, data is likely gone

even the data recovery software can't find the drive at all even though i can see it in the file explorer and for a brief amount of time i can even see the files
