Run windirst http://windirstat.info/ which should help you locate what is taking up the space. After you know what is using the space you can go about deleting what you don't need.

Recovery disc as in a CD or recovery partition? Are you having problem doing a recovery?

I took it as "recover disk space", but it is a bit difficult to determine what is being asked.

Thank you for your reply to my question - My D (recovery) disc is telling me to delete unwanted data as there is no toom on it - but when I go in to clean it there is nothing there to clean!
