Recycle Bin on External Hard Drive

Greetings from sunny South Africa.

I had to format my hardrive, used an external hard drive to back up my data. Once my pooter was ready i transferred my backed up stuff back. Unfortunately somewhere along the line i am missing a few things, which i am sure i deleted for whatever reason off the external harddrive. The hard drive has not been formatted. two questions?

1. Does the Hard drive have its own recycle bin? If so how do i access it?

2. I have run a Recover my Files and there is so much stuff renamed. Will i find it in there if i keep looking?

1. Yes. By default, it's hidden from the user. Open My Computer, Tools, Folder Options, uncheck Hide protected... and click Show hidden files and folders.

2. Yes, but the files may not be recognizable to you. It's best to use an undelete utility.
