Question Red Cpu light

Hello, my dilemma is such. My PC was working perfectly, never had issues since I had a new mobo, cpu, cooling fans, etc. Alls I did was change the surge protector that it was plugged into, now I have a red cpu light and the pc won’t boot, and can’t even shut off, (all fans and light on). Please help as it is very frustrating. I literally did nothing but essentially change the outlet it was plugged into. Even after changing it back to what I had originally, still won’t boot or shut off.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need a little more information. Make and model of your motherboard? Processor used to pair with said motherboard? Remove the surge protector and see if the diagnostic LED on the motherboard goes away. If you've changed the outlet, change it to another wall outlet and see if the issue persists.

Mind sharing a link to the surge protector you invested in?
