Question Red Dot on Facebook Profile-Image Icon

Hi there,
since a couple of days I notice a red dot on my Facebook profile icon (on the upper right of the screen), there are no notifications and no symbols/numbers in the dot: if I click on the profile icon the red dot disappears and then appears again when I reload the page. I've never seen this before. I use Facebook from PC. Is it a glitch? Thanks!

Curiously the red dot does not show up if I use an older PC with different browser..
So if it is a glitch I would be interested on how to get rid of it.

The red dot on your Facebook profile icon could be a display bug, related to a hidden notification or a cache problem in your browser. Try clearing the cache, checking notifications, and testing with another browser or in incognito mode. If it persists, it could be a temporary problem on Facebook's servers.
