Red Lines' Problem with PC Chips M938LU SiS 650GX Motherboard when Enabling Hyper Threading

Hello Guys. I am using an old PC Chips M938LU SiS 650GX 400/533 FSB 478 socket motherboard. Intel Pentium 4 3.06 GHZ 512 533 SL6PG Hyper Threading, 2GB PC3200U memory ram, AGP MSI FX 5200 video card, 450w PSU. The system is running normal. The thing is that when I enable the hyper threading on the bios, the system boots on a black with vertical red lines' screen. I have to clear the bios on the motherboard with the three pins to restore the system. This is would definitely take advantage of the hyper threading technology. Please help!!

This is an old computer but Hyper Threading would be a great upgrade.
