Question Reduced graphics performance since changing the CPU ?

Hello, since I changed my CPU I have much less performance with my graphics card like for example Time Spy where I only do 18000 in graphics score instead of 31000 before the change.
userbenchmark bench result: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/68696110
3DMark result: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/118149504?

CPU: Threadripper 7960x
RAM: 4x16gb kingston fury DDR5 ECC 6400 MT/S
MOTHERBOARD: TRX50 AERO D GIGABYTE REV 1.2
GPU: RX 7900 XTX SAPPHIRE NITRO +

PSU: 2x 1000W Corsair RM 1000 X
(one for motherboard and CPU and the other for GPU and 4 x HDD, 2 x NVMe SSDs 1To and 2To

Windows 11 and all drivers are up to date but Cyberpunk tells me my GPU driver is not up to date and i dont know why

if i play a game, whether it's Starfield or Cyberpunk, my GPU driver crashes after 10 to 15 min.
I tried a fresh install of Windows 11 and used DDU everytime i switched driver. I'm starting to run out of ideas about what the cause could be.

I know Threadripper CPUs are not the best for gaming but i do a lot of CPU-intensive tasks and I like to game sometimes.

my old cpu was a 5950x with 64gb of ram 3200mhz i sold everything to my friend and I'm not going to put back my old cpu since this one is much more powerful for 3D.
Sorry i forgot to put the old one

The problem and the difference between the scores you have is in your graphics card, not in the CPU.
Look at the settings of the card.

for my gpu everything is like before an undervolt/overclock and I have already tried without too

if you want some screenshot tell me
the score of the card is not determined by the processor but basically the same card and in your case it cannot work as before because you have changed the platform, so look at the settings of the card and also in the bios of your motherboard

what should I check in the bios?
or even on the card?
sorry but I'm a bit lost
You have already asked a question in the amd community and no one has answered so far, the settings I am talking about have mainly to do with Adrenaline, and from the bios I have them enabled for the card.
Right now I'm on a laptop because I have a power cut so I can't check my PC to tell you what settings I have on my own card.

yes that's why I came to ask my question here

If you talk about the 4g decoding and resizable bar i already disable and enable it before and after i install the driver

I just tried several things I enabled/disabled SAM before and after a new installation of the drivers with DDU
I forced my pcie slot to be in pcie 4.0 x16 in the bios
disable all possible virtualizations of windows 11 and then reactivate them
all this did not change anything it's still the same
Does the CPU somehow limit the GPU?

Although the cards are not the same, you try.
In any other case, you are looking to find out why the platform you created is not the same as the one you had, and as the friend said, clean win from begin for a new computer and not an old one, installation from begin, that is your problem

I never touched anything in the record and stream tab
and I just reinstalled windows and it's still the same

Hi I read in one report about this issue and they said you may need to upgrade the CPU as this one is too weak for the RX 7900XTX graphic card. Just an article I read. Also they said if possible to lower the resolution.

hi I reinstalled windows having formatted everything (once again) and I installed my drivers from a USB key without internet and now it works perfectly like before surely Windows installs its crappy drivers at startup each time thank you for helping me with this

incompatible drivers can trigger instability, Faulty GPU connections, power supply problems, or defective components. Software Conflicts: Interactions between programs causing instability and crashes.

Avoiding bottlenecks: A mismatched GPU and CPU can lead to performance bottlenecks, where one component limits the potential of the other.

yes it was Windows' fault for installing its stupid drivers without an internet connection I was able to install everything without Windows using its own and everything works normally now

do you think there is a bottleneck with my system ? I don't think

Hi you have a considerable investment in this system. According to the PC Builds site the bottleneck for this CPU and GPU is around 9%. You should have a good overall gaming experience and good productivity with your system. Glad to know you found the issue. Windows drivers are not necessarily the best for any system. The hardware manufacturers drivers do work best in most cases. Cheers.
