Reformating

how do you reformat a computer or delete the windows from the harddrive?

i had some seller saying he'll install windows and test it out then delete it before shipping
and im about to give away my old computer but will be looking into deleteing the OS

Wrong forum., You can start a reinstall and tell it to reformat drive, not quick format then quit install after format finishes.
