Hi, I have just gotten my build to work after painful amounts of testing. Now I have another problem, how do I reinstall Windows 7, also the CPU is idling at 45C and rising... I want to get the GFX Card working soon to take some of the stress off of the CPU... I have used the same HDD as my old computer and I want to do a clean system wipe install of Windows 7 64 Bit..

Also, my graphics card doesn't show up in device manager yet. This may be due to drivers, if so can you explain how to fix it?

System Specs:

ASRock 970 Extreme3
AM3 FX 3300 6 Core
AMD Radeon HD 6870
8GB G.Skill 2x4GB

Anyone done this before?

Solution
you have a windows 7 dvd I assume? If so, you just boot off he dvd, and select advanced setup. Then you choose to wipe out the existing partitions, create a new partition, and format it. Then proceed with the installation.

You graphics card won't show up until you install the driver for it.
