Remote Desktop and WebPage

When I enter just my IP address from work, or enter just my DNS from
work, I get my Web page.
When I enter either the IP/tsweb or DNS/tsweb, I get my "Remote
Desktop WEb Connection" which if hit enter twice, it will take me to
my sign in page.
I would think that if I put the /TSWEB I would get my web page and if
I left the /TSWEB off I should get my sign in page.
Am I correct in my assumption or is this working correctly?

This is working correctly.

The web page serves the ActiveX control to your browser. The ActiveX
control, once installed and invoked, makes the connection to your machine,
bringing up the login.

There's more going on here than a simple web connection.

Thanks Bill, now I can get back to trying to make my Web server work
for me.. what a lot of money I can save if I can get it together.

Some of what you pay for with web hosting is some level of professionalism
with regard to security issues.

If you run IIS at home, don't neglect that aspect. Download and run the
latest version of MBSA:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/tools/mbsahome.mspx

and follow all its recommendations, particularly in relation to IIS.

(I suspect that you know this already, but it won't hurt to reinforce the
lesson for others reading!)

And, of course, you have Automatic updates set to download and then notify,
and have a Firewall with as few ports as possible open, and current
antivirus protection.
