Remove Original windows 8 on HP laptop

Hi,
my laptop model is Envy15-j037tx. It has pre-installed windwos 8, but it want to install linux os with dual boot. boot manager not allow that in bios. so i decided to remove os and install windows 8.1, but i need to know the problems i have to face after this change. if any genius can explain it to me, that would be great.

You shouldn't have any issues upgrading to 8.1 provided that HP have 8.1 drivers for your model on their website
(many Windows 8.0 drivers don't work properly on 8.1, so new drivers had to be written).

thank for the reply, my method will remove recovery partition too, will it make any issue to the new OS ?
