Greetings -

Has anyone managed to get or buy a replacement shipping box from Dell?
I need one for a notebook.

Thanks,
Jason

When I had to send my wife's laptop for repair through AbnExp/DHL here in Detroit area. The driver had the box with them, it was shipped from Dell with the address label already made out. I would first check with Dell, or call shipper for your area, and have them have it when they pick up the laptop.

Attention !!! Before Installing MS XP SP2, create a Restore Point. This will allow you to return WinXP to a previous condition, if you have problems after update!

So the majority have no business applying something SP2 because they
have no way to back it out. First lesson of software development. Of
course, if they have nothing on their computers they would miss if they
had to wipe their HDD & start over, bon voyage!

I applied SP2 to my laptop (successfully) and certainly set a restore
point beforehand; but I also had a clone of my C: drive on an external
HDD, so if the update turned into a major clusterthing I could just
revert back to the pre-SP2 state.
