I want to replace the thermal pads of the cards - the information about the thickness of the pads on the Internet is full of conflicting information,

You intend to replace the pads, then why not disassemble the card and with a slider caliper or a small ruler, take measurements? Then you can move forward by placing an order of thermal pads that fit the measurements you'd taken.

If you want suggestions, you can look at Fujipoly thermal pads, they are expensive but are worth every cent.
