I have bought Sickleflow 120 ARGB recently and I just notice it doesn't compatible with my RGB Controller from Cooler Master with Masterplus+ software https://masterplus.coolermaster.com/

I just wonder if there is any controller or another workaround for this my Sickleflow can be controlled through software?

oh and my motherboard does not have 3 pin ARGB

If you bought the fan brand new, the fans should come with an addressable controller;

which is enough to power the fans and manage the lighting.

On another note, what is the make and model of your motherboard? What controller are you working with at the moment(since you mentioned in your first line that it's not compatible with your controller)?

it comes with a controller, but it can't be used using software, only a button at the controller or using the reset button

my motherboard is B450 Tomahawk Max and it does not have 3 pins ARGB, only have one 4 pin RGB

as for my current Controller is Cooler Master RGB Controller, it supports software but for some reason, Sickleflow is not compatible https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/rgb-accessories/rgb-led-controller/ this what I have right now

You say it is NOT "compatible with my RGB Controller from Cooler Master with Masterplus+ software ". The Cooler Master Controllers I mentioned above both have a USB2 socket on one edge, and come with a cable to connect from there to a mobo USB2 header. That is how the MasterPlus+ software communicates with the Controller. On the web page for a 3-pack of those fans it shows a different small Controller box that appears to have a single square "button" on the front, two sockets on one side (neither of which is a USB2 socket), and no instructions. Is that what you have?I found it on the CoolerMaster website as their Mini Addressable RGB LED Controller. It is only able to use a connection to your front panel Reset switch (via its 2-pin socket) or its own single pushbutton to make a small selection of display types. Thus you can NOT use MasterPlus+ software, because it would have no way to communicate with that box.

You could look instead for the CoolerMaster A-RGB LED Small Co0ntroller here

https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/rgb-accessories/argb-led-small-controller/#item1

and here

https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MFX-ACBN-NNUNN-R1-Controller-Detection/dp/B07H241TFT/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1RD77NNJEXEDM&dchild=1&keywords=coolermaster+argb+fan+controller&qid=1612888195&sprefix=coolermaster+argb,aps,190&sr=8-3&th=1

However, several user comments suggest you MAY need to do a firmware update to get this to work with the MasterPlus+ software, and it does not appear to come with a USB2 connection cable. Some also say it has limited displays available. CoolerMaster also had a larger ARGB Controller, but lately I cannot find where to buy one.

On the other hand, the Razer Chroma ARGB Controller recommended by johnsoner13 above and available here

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/razer-...g-customization-black/6435263.p?skuId=6435263

and elsewhere appears to have all the features you need, CAN work with your ARGB lights, and does come with a USB2 connection cable and free downloadable software to control it. It does NOT need a mobo ARGB header, although it can use one.

I mean the controller that I currently have does not have a button at all, but that is not the issue here

it just that my SickleFlow 120 is not compatible with my current controller, it can only be lighted using its own controller, but I want to control it through software instead of a button.

as for the razer, unfortunately, it does not available internationally, as for the Best Buy you mentioned, I have just asked from the chat at the site and they said they only ship in the US

I just hope it will be in stock internationally soon
