Question RGB fans don't show any light after i installed the last one

Hi there!
I bought a set of 6 rgb fans which contains an rgb controller. everytime i installed one i would test it to verify that it worked and the first 4 worked(including the lights) but after the fifth or sixth fan, the lights turned on once and after 0.5 seconds, they stopped working and now the fans just spin. Do you think it was the controller that short circuited? Thanks!

I also tried different cables and the controller shows a green light, meaning its on i think🤷🏼

That is a possibility since 5th or 6th fan most likely overloaded the LED count that controller was capable of sustaining.

Tell us what fans and what controller - maker and model number if possible. A good controller able to power may LED strings should have a way to feed power to it from the PSU and not depend on getting power from the mobo header.
