I have been trying to diagnose and fix this problem for ages now, I am unsure what to do at this point. I have a new PC that is about 3 months old, everything minus the mouse/keyboard, two monitors and the GPU being over a year old (was unused and sitting in a box), was purchased about a month before it was able to be put together.

Every now and then, my RGB lights will stop doing their rainbow cycling and start flashing colors. It will flash the 3 colors it rotates through on the fans rather than just random colors. So it'll be like green/blue/purple and then switch to the other colors not cycle. However, when this begins, my RAM lights will freeze entirely, will stay lit up on whatever colors it was on, but completely stop cycling. During this time, if I open up HWMonitor, during the loading phase it stops at 50% and freezes for a few seconds. Once it finally gets passed that the RAM is not listed in the hardware at all. It just stops existing on the list entirely, even restarting the program doesn't get them to register.

The only ways I've managed to fix this issue are either a full reboot (restart just gives me black screens across all 3 monitors), waiting it out and hoping it stops by itself, or sometimes there is an update it needs and that will fix the issue once I open up Armoury Crate. This time, however, it just didn't fix itself after updating, I had to reboot. I tried seeing if changing the colors would work and it just shut them off entirely instead. I tried seeing if I could reselect what hardware it worked with in the crate and it kept having to search for devices, even when I was trying this method the RAM sticks just wasn't available at all either, they was missing from the options. I'm unsure what to do here, I rebooted the PC and they are functioning perfectly fine now.

A couple points I'd like to make about this build, may or may not be entirely relevant but may help. If this issue is going on, and I restart my system my monitors wont come back on. I've tried it a couple times and it just results in me sitting there with 3 black monitors. Rebooting is the only option if I don't wish to wait it out at all. I'm also thinking this motherboard may have more issues than I think, because for a long time I could not use my Ethernet port, it would just disconnect me at random. I tried going from the router out in the living room to my PC and then going from the access point in my room to the PC, same issue either way. WiFi would work just fine, I could use it easily. Eventually, I have no idea what happened but it started to work properly from the access point cable. I just went with the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" method for a while so I can save up if need be for a new motherboard. I've also tried installing the new drivers for it but they just pop up and close instantly. Not sure what to do there.

PC Specs:

CPU - i5-13600K
GPU - EVGA 3080 12GB (latest updates as of yesterday)
RAM - G. Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 5600 2 x 16 (currently running at 4800 rather than 5600, don't know how to fix it)
Motherboard - Asus ROG Strix Z790-H Gaming Wifi (Bios is out of date I believe)
Cooling - Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420mm
PSU - Corsair RM1000x (2021) Gold
Storage Drives - WD Black SN850X 1TB, Crucial P3 2TB & 4TB
OS - Windows 11 (updated till September, was waiting to see about a couple issues with updates, going to let it update within the next week)

Try uninstalling Armory crate it is a horrible app. What is wrong with the memory? Is the xmp for 5600mhz not working?

Thing is, I heard you can't uninstall it and if you do, some stuff just doesn't work at all.

As I said in the post, I don't know my way around a bios menu very well. So I literally don't know how or where to turn it on at. I also need to update it cuz I think my bios is severely out of date last I checked for anything.

I would ask a friend who knows his way around a bios menu to help you. If that is not an option, I would then take it to a local computer repair store and have them give it a once over. You paid for performance you are not getting.

Thing is, I had people put it together and they said it was on, turns out it wasn't. No big deal, I might ask my father see if he knows how to enable it. If not, idk what to do then besides maybe ask a support forum or look up guides.

I might wind up replacing the motherboard if the port is bad like I believe it is for the ethernet. That way I can send it in for repairs and keep as a spare or let someone in the family have it for their next build.
