Rivatuner 2.21

I am using a 4870x2 and i set all my profiles for the fan speeds in rivatuner but it doesnt seem to work. can anyone help me use rivatuner correctly. I followed the guide for versions 2.07-2.11 online (wasn't exact for the newer 2.21 version but i did my best). it seems that when i manually switch speeds in rivatuner, the fan switches accordingly, but i cannot get the launcher and schedule the profiles to work. i have several speeds that i set on monitor hardware and put appropriate ranges of temps down. any ideas?

I stopped using rivatuner when Ati tray cools came out with support for 4870s. Check that program, I know for a fact it works to do what you want.

yeah, all i want to do is have the fan automate at different temps

i can't install att, it says it is an unsigned driver and i can't install it, anyone know how to turn that off? or proceed with the installation without it. i am using vist 64bit, i think its a security issue...
