rma process help

my z97 mpower motherboard failed with a month left of a 36 month warranty and I have sent it back under rma can anyone tell me what will likely happen the store have confirmed the board is dead and are going to come back to me in a week with a plan they say they no longer stock the board so it will either be sent to msi or they will offer me something can anyone give me an idea what to expect i know i had the board for nearly 3 years but does that mean they can mug me off with a crappy h97 micro atx or do they have to give me at least a z97 replacement any one gone through this process

It will probably go to MSi and they will repair it or give you a replacement. If an exact replacement is not available, they would offer you a refurbished board that is of the same or better spec. If that fails too, you would likely get a refund (but thats very unlikely).
