Rome 2 campaign restarts pc

I have an alienware area 51 and recently replaced my GTX 555 card with an EVGA GTX 660. I have the correct drivers installed as well. Whenever I play Rome 2 campaign on any graphics setting above medium, it loads extremely slow, then crashes immediately once I'm in game. I can do battles without issue on extreme settings. I run all of my games like Bf4 and Arma 3 on the highest settings. I used to have the same issue immediately after opening Wargame Red Dragon but it rarely happened when using the gtx 550. Any help?

Most likely you didnt upgrade your PSU when you upgraded GPUs. The 555 is some kinda weird OEM card and probably bottom of the barrel performance wise and doesnt take a lot of power. However the 660 is a decent mid range card and probably uses more wattage and most likely your PSU is cheap as that is what PC makers use unless specified or paid for.

It is a 330w psu, what do you recommend that isn't outrageously expensive?

I wouldnt buy the cheapest PSU you can find. The PSU is the MOST important part of your PC. I would go with a 550w PSU from XFX, Seasonic to name a few.
