And they have yet to make a single battery.

An LG Chem employee told the station, “there would be up to 40 of us that would just sit in there during the day.” That’s funny, because President Obama told those same workers back in June 2010, “You are leading the way in showing how manufacturing jobs are coming right back here to the United States of America.” Right along with Solyndra, apparently.

Emblematic of the stimulus program - throw millions of dollars at green energy and see what sticks..

Why is American taxpayer's money being thrown at a Korean owned company to begin with? Lets not kid ourselves... the jobs are cool (if they are working) but the fact is, it's all about the bottom dollar thus profit margins.

As a moderator it was not Candy's job to fact check (she would be fact checking every time both debaters opened their mouths if that was her job). I believe she was just trying to save her guy from being pounded on the Libya issue. She was wrong because Obama never said the attack on Libya was an act of terror.

As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.

Notice he switches to "Today" after making the "acts of terror" comment. He was talking about the past; the first 9/11 to be exact (terrible that we have two now).

Candy could not have been more biased in this debate. She gave POTUS more time, and saved his butt with false interpretations of his own speech. It was really sad that Romney had to debate two people.

I agree that Biden isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but to use the argument that Bachmann and Palin are somehow less idiotic than they seem to be because of increased media speculation is just to much of a stretch for me. I have gathered my opinons of them by their actions and what they have said, so to say they would seem more intelligent with less coverage is like saying everyone else would be less intelligent under more media scrutiny, which I just can't agree with. Now there may be an argument to be made that "more" people have this opinion because of increased media coverage of them but that in itself does not change the core fact that they are morons who have somehow reached the upper echelon of the tea party. Saying a pig is covered in crap when the pig is indeed covered in crap is not indoctrination.

I always shake my head in wonder when people refer to elected officials as being "morons". Really, Palin and Bachmann are morons? And you know this from the personal experience based on the hours spent engaging them in direct conversation and being intimate with their daily affairs, right?

Just because you do not agree with their politics is no reason to call them morons, i just shows how ignorant you are.

Off the top of my head I think of the muslim brotherhood comments from Bachmann and then the foreign policy comments from Palin when she was a VP candidate.

You can continue to equivocate about media bias all you want, but when people actually believe that Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her window, and the following onslaught of negative public opinion against Palin is proof that media bias has more influence on the people than the truth and fact.

Bachmann's letter regarding Huma Abedin's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood is/was not totally unfounded. It is has been proven that Abedin's Brother, Hassan Abedin, maintained a Fellowship at the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies which was Chaired by Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Abdullah Omar Naseef, both with proven ties to Al-Qaeda and both known for funding Islamic militants. Abdullah Omar Naseef also founded the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs and gave the leadership of the IMMA to the Abedin family of which Huma Abedin was an Editor of the IMMA newsletter.

Again, as with the same with Palin, the media ignored the story and Huma Abedin's family history and direct family ties to known sponsors of terrorism and instead took to calling Bachmann a racist, anti-Muslim, and a conspiracy theorist. Just more proof that media bias has more influence than the facts of the matter.

You do realize that Americans in the military have been denied rank and security clearance because of less conspicuous relationships. You do realize that civil servants and private contractors working for the government have been denied security clearance and denied government contracts for less conspicuous relationships. But Huma Abedin, who has proven, direct relationships with known sponsors of Islamic militants, gets a pass from the media and continues to work in the very prestigious and high ranking position of Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State.

What you equivocate as "media speculation" is just a euphemism for what you choose to deny, and that is outright media bias.

I watched that whole debate, unfortunately no I haven't read every post in this thread thus far however. Biden came across to me like an arrogant and smug bastard frequently using phrases like "since I was actually there when it happened"... I watched a friend of mine rebuild an automatic transmission once, that doesn't mean I actually can go out and lecture people on how its done. Who was he kidding copping that kind of attitude?

Joseph Biden is just one of many career politician d-bags who are the primary reason more states should have term limits.
