[Troubles] connectivity issues, log, desync when online gaming.
Ive been having repeat issues with windtream (i know they are sh!t) my service cuts out all the time and my router log always is full was just wondering if anyone could look and see if they see an issue. just trying to play online games on my days off. Have had 2 techs come out recently and have seen a reduction in the quality of service. i dont wanna keep paying for this if im continually going to have issues.

Make and model information: modem, router, or modem/router if combined?

How is your network set up? Are all devices affected or just some?

A typical home network would be something like the following line diagram (where ---> represents an Ethernet cable):

ISP (Windstream) === (coax, DSL, fiber)===> Modem ----> [WAN Port] Router [LAN ports] ----> wired network devices and wireless> Wireless devices.

There may be other devices as well.

Feel free to edit and correct my line diagram as necessary.

My thought is that there is a bad cable or connection somewhere. What all did the techs do?

More information needed.

Do you somehow have two IP addresses assigned to your PC? I see ethernet connection on port 3. Then I see two IP addresses connected via ethernet. Is there a switch connected to port 3? Also, I see that sometimes it is 100mbit and sometimes 1gbit. You might have a bad cable.

yes, that looks to my my pc. 192.168.254.64 so you think it may be a bad ethernet cord? or is something messed up with my pc network settings?

Maybe it would be the pc if there was only 1 device.

You get 2 different IP that happen exactly at the same time. What is common between 192.168.254.64 and 192.168.254.109.

Do you have a switch between the router and the end devices. It could then be the switch or the cable that is going between the router and the switch.
