What were you doing when this happened, ie, in admin tools, booting, what ?

Is this a new drive to the system, or did this just start happening to existing drive.

Can you access it thru control panel, administrative tools Computer mgmt , disk mgmt ?

I was trying to use an already installed removable disk e that came with my computer. I already tried going into computer management and all that thats where I'm getting this message

Also, can't rule out an infection of some sort, so do malware/virus scans.

None of my documents or downloads in my documents will open either. I tried to download that application from the website you suggested and after it tried to domload it it said same thing it won't open files or access my e drive. I need help I can't access my resume or anthing

Start - Run - services.msc - Standard Tab - scroll down to the two RPC services, Click on removable Storage and click startservice, if it is not already started.
