I can't decide which one of two laptops should I buy. The only differences between them are the graphics cards. Other components are the same and so is the price.

Which one of these GPUs will age better and will last longer? I think it could be the GTX 1070 but aren't future games requiring Raytracing a threat?

To sum it up I would simply like to know which one of these GPUs do you think is more future proof and prossibly why do you think so. Thanks

Other components: Core i7-8750H, 16GBs of DDR4 RAM, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD

Solution
The 2070 will last longer than the 1070. The 2070 does support ray tracing, but that is just a setting that can be turned on or off in a game.

If you want the more future proof and better GPU, go for the 2070. The only advantage the 1070 really has is that it should be cheaper.
