Lately I've been noticing lower fps in games than before. Tried updating drivers and clean-installing drivers from manufacturer. Checked my system for viruses and miners, cleaned the laptop from dust. Installed all latest BIOS and Windows updates. Tinkered with GPU settings. So far nothing worked for me.

These graphs are from playing 10 minutes of Palworld. The game ran at 6-15 fps on lowest settings. From what I can see, despite having 100% GPU usage, GPU memory and clock speed weren't used to fullest. It also seems the GPU has lower power usage than it should have.

The laptop is plugged in, and all battery settings are on high performance.

What can I do here?

your PerfCap Reason is showing Pwr, Thrm which means it is over heating, try cleaning the dust on the fans and apply new thermal paste.

also this is from an different post, i saw your GPU clock is the same as mine at only 210 Mhz BEFORE THE FIX, after i try the method below, mine is running at 1057 MHz now.

"Nvidia control panel messes up teh clock speeds sometimes and it can get stuck in idle. Open nvidia control panel>Manage 3D settings>Set power management mode to high performance and reboot. You can try at a later time putting it back to adaptive and it may work then, im not sure what is wrong with this utility, they will hopefully update is at the release of pascal..."

This is what helped me out. Props to Ethanh100. He's a legend.
