2. The people that got some and put them on EBAY for a 50% price increase their absolutely nothing wrong with that although it did actually take stock from people that was actually going to buy one to use. For all you know they bought 3 are selling 2 for a 50% price increase to actually get their 3rd card for free that they are going to use. Not the best thing to do since it looks like a lot of people are hating on them for it but their in no way forcing you to buy it that is your decision.

3. The people that are biding the crazy 40K with absolutely no intention of paying that price on them should be made to pay it by EBAY that is to me a lot worse than the people selling the cards.
I see a strange juxtaposition in these two points.

I did realise what you were saying and EDITED my post but like I said who is worse the people selling for a profit or the people biding 40K ?

To be honest these cards are good and running out of stock and there very limited so can understand people selling them for profit but with fake bidders it dose ruin the chances of selling as much and people are just upset and mad. Just hope next week wont be as messy as today and maybe stores need to limit how many get bought in store, I know online wont help but they can try!. I was this close in buying one for 1200 for the day delivery but the make is half and half palit gpu

I don't if you own something you can try to sell it for any amount you wish but nobody has to pay your asking price that is their choice.

Deliberately just bidding something to a absolute retarded price just to mess up their sale to me is just wrong.

Again my opinion after all this is the internet and people can do, be, say anything.

They could even be a advantage to people like you and me that did not get one. Were not going to fall out dead because of it, we still have cards that work, their even a chance of by the time we can actually get one something like a 3070X is released for 600 bucks with close to a 3080 performance.

I already ordered 3080 because the website says there expecting item today and it been confirmed just waiting for the delivery to the store. Just hoping there one in stock for me since not seen this card on sale on any website so looks like an delayed gpu!

Well your all set then no biggie:)

If it comes down to it I will take a 3070 still around a 100% increase over my 1070 or around that area.
But might be just me it was not the way I was raised to do something like bid 40K on a card with no intention of buying it just to try to screw somebody over. Like I said they got the card good for them they wish to sell it for a profit great for them nobody has to pay their price everybody can wait till more are released that would screw them more than just killing their sale.

I'm sure EBAY will just let them cancel the sale and relist it after what is going on.

Another thing have you tried to buy a PSU with the shortage in the US even the retailers are charging about double the price for a good one but nobody is trashing them for it.

Actually most PSU I recommend like the Corsair RMX and Seasonic Focus Gold are still in the same prices range they were a few months ago. RMX 650 Watts is 124, 750 is 134 and the 850 watts is 144. It's not like they are priced at 200+ dollars. PSU are not that bad atm. Not all of them but most of them.

So be mad at the stores. NVIDIA can't tell them how to run their store. It'd be just as bad if NVIDIA tries to force a condition, say install CAPTCHA, on store fronts that don't have it in order to sell their cards. I equate that to Apple forcing third party repair shops into a contract to buy spare parts at a "fair" price.

These stores still have to buy stuff from manufacturers to put on their shelves. They don't come in as an IOU if it gets sold.

Aside from that, enthusiasts aren't the only ones who want cards. Plenty of system builders lined up for them too and they'll get priority over enthusiasts looking to swap parts.
Captcha on Nvidia stores. 1 purchase per customer brick-n-mortar.

144 right now but only one seller and might have 10 or so in stock. Those were in the 100 buck or less area.

650 Watt 129.

750 Watt out of stock or 400 bucks.

Upgraded my PC and reused my old Seasonic G650 watt so now I might need to spend the 144 on the RMx 850.

EDIT if I end up settling on a RTX 3070 I could keep using my older Seasonic.

Yeah out of stock. You're right. The prices tho never been 100 dollars or less for these. I bought the 750 RMx before covid at 130 dollars. I wish the RMx series was 100 dollars or less hehe.
