Question RTX 3080 is black-screening ?

Hello all, I am posting here because I have an issue with my build that has been a thorn in my side for a while now and it seems like no matter what I do it can't be fixed. I have tried DDU with the most up to date drivers from NVIDIA, getting a more powerful PSU from a reputable brand, the only things that were "refurbished" are the GPU and the motherboard. Every time I play a game that's remotely GPU intensive it black screens immediately. I can't get past the first settings on MSI Kombustor, and I'm handicapped by my dysfunctional system. I don't know much about GPU internals, but is there a fix that lies within taking it apart? I really don't want to spend that much money on a new card.

I would try a different video cable. It's much more likely to fail than the rest.

what is it connected to TV?

if it's HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1 TV and it has game mode and also PC mode it could be going out of sync or something odd just going on for some unknown reason?

There might be an TV firmware update or something or try resetting the TV?

just another possibility though.
