Question RTX 3080 no signal at the main PCIE lane expresse but work on other pcie

RTX 3080 not working on main pcie line express x16 (no signal from monitor but fan and light turn on) and when i am on my igpu the gpu isnt even detected its like there is nothing plugued. The gpu works on other pcie line but only the speed is 1x 3.1 no higher thhna that. On many demanding games i have low fps and constant frame drop. I changed mobo but no prevail. my old mobo was working perfectely on my old rtx 3060ti but since Rtx 3080 neither mobo worked on the main pcie. I am desparate i bought this second sale and the seller said was working just find before. I did all the drivers/bios uptade. Resettle the gpu to many time. And tried the force gen 3 pcie but no luck.My

Did you reinstall the OS after the motherboard swap? Speaking of motherboard's what motherboard were you on prior if the board listed in your specs is what you're currently on...?

the motherboard you're working with? If so, what BIOS version are you on for said motherboard?

850W is the advertised wattage of the PSU while Gold is the advertised 80+ efficiency rating of the unit, what is the make, model and age of the PSU?

Yes i did fresh install of windows but same thing….
I had a B760 gaming x ddr4 gigabyte and now I’m on pro mid b760 wifi plus.
I have msi mag 850 gold psu and it was less than 2 years

That's a confusing statement. Signals do not originate from monitors.
Stop connecting video cables to your motherboard's video outputs.

I plugged to my mother board to see if my Gpu was detected and to go in bios. What I wanted to say is the screen is black no signal

Have you still got the 3060ti? If so please try that to see if it works ok. If it does I’d say there something wrong with the 3080.

Can you maybe go over to a friend to see if the 3080 works ok in their machine?

If the 3060ti doesn’t work in your machine and the 3080 does work in another machine then I suspect it’s the cpu or the ram because you’d have to be REALLY unlucky to have two mainboards with faulty pcie slots.

No I don’t have anymore the rtx 3080 and I don’t have many friend with pc let alone non laptop pc but I will try to plug the rtx 3080 to another pc
