You're welcome.
....and if you're going to get a new supply...keep in mind that all of your other hardware can be destroyed instantly by a power supply that fails....so I would get something of quality.

Here are two good links.

Yes I've heard about this from others. Will have a look. Thanks again

What would you recommend, my knowledge and understanding with all this is very limited. Price wise. I'm not that bothered. Buy cheap buy twice in my opinion. So the more expensive the better

I am currently running two Corsair RMx series units.....a 750 watt and a 1000 watt.
RMx are considered quality units.
They are also very quiet in my opinion as the fan doesn't start until a certain temperature.
Seasonic are also generally considered very good as are most other Corsair units.
As always you generally get what you pay for....so a higher tier Seasonic or Corsair will be more expensive.
RMx units are pretty high up as far as quality.

Looks good.
As you can see it gets great reviews.
I think they're good, quiet, power supplies....which is why I bought another one for another machine after I had the first one.

One has been running about a year and the other for three with no issues.

Thanks again. One more question, then i'll leave you alone lol.

If I get this one do I need any other cables for the RTX 3080 or does it come with it all

Thank you
You're welcome.
Basically to install it...power down.....touch the case....remove all the power plugs from the components. It may be good to keep a list.
Remove the mounting screws of the supply and remove the old one.
Install the new one...replace screws.
Reinstall all the plugs.
Take your time.
Go slow.
Don't force any plug.
The plugs are all keyed.
If you have to force it...it's probably wrong.
That's about it.

You're welcome and I also wanted to mention that PSU is modular....so you only use the cables you need to use. You will probably have extras at the end.....just save them outside the case. No need to have them connected just dangling in the case.

Hello again

I'm back lol

Wanted to ask you another tech question. I want to get liquid cooling installed in my computer for the CPU. Can this be done and what would you recommend? Also is there cooling for the graphics card? This will be the RTX 3080

Thanks
