You always have this constant barrage of people telling others to "buy AMD", "now is the time to buy AMD".

Then you step away from the fanboys for a minute and look at everything yourself.

-AMD performance that is often worse
-very poor AMD raytracing performance
-FSR that looks worse than DLSS
-no Nvenc
-no CUDA
-AMD driver issues
-higher power consumption on AMD cards

Sure I'll buy an AMD GPU, if you give me a 40% discount compared to Nvidia, to compensate for all these issues.

But AMD wants to sell GPU by diving just 2% or 3% under Nvidia's price. No thanks.

I don't know about a 40% discount (10-15% cheaper per frame would help)...BUT your not wrong on the driver issues, performance and feature hits you get going with AMD.

I miss ATI. :(

when the 7800xt releases which strikes me as the 4060ti match the 4060ti will lose badly !!
if you do the product matches it the 7900xtx vs 4080 the 7900xt vs the 4070ti so natural progression is the 7800xt vs the 4060ti the 7600 is just the ( rather pathetic 8gb answer as in 2023 no 8gb cards should exist ) answer to the 4060 !!

Why dont compare it to the RX6800 16GB which costs $50 less and sports double the VRAM? Oh yeah because it would take a beating in any game and it would LOOK BAD TO FANBOYS. Why not compare the $500 4060Ti 16GB against the $450 6800XT 16GB? Because it would be pulverized!!! This new gen is a joke and this website fuullll of? Jokes 😂

build a bridge on AMD drivers they are fine ive got many cards from the 6000series and the drivers work perfectly my 7900xtx drivers are great as well the only performance hit you get from AMD is RT which in all fairness everything but 4090 ( which is a beast ) needs to be nerfed anyway defeating the purpose of RT..

besides is anyone really buying a 4060 /4060ti for production work !!

Holy crap!!!! I can't believe it's that bad!! LMAO 😂😂😂 I'm sorry for anyone buying into this "new gen" aka same thing plus fake frames. 6700XT at $250 matches a 4060TI but with 12GB.. would anyone buy the 4060Ti for $400 knowing this since it's just 8GB and way more expensive? Guys I swear.. this nonsense has to flop hard. If people buy this carp next gens will be doomed, and all people will have to play with are gonna be over expensive fake frames

I'm sorry for anyone buying into this "new gen" aka same thing plus fake frames. 6700XT at $250 matches a 4060/3060Ti but with 12GB.. would anyone buy the 4060 for $300 knowing this since it's just 8GB and more expensive?
I wouldnt be buying ( if i was buying budget ) a 7600 or a 4060 .. i have the 6700xt and its a great card at its current prices why bother with this gen low end rubbish ..
Ive also got a Intel ARC 770 which with 16gb and the work intel keep doing with the drivers is a super good purchase !!

Doesn't seem to be a fair comparison though, since one of the cards costs $399 US (4060 Ti) while the other is expected to retail close to $299 US (RX 7600).

But as expected, it looks like the RX 7600 8 GB will be highly competitive against the RTX 4060 Non-TI 8 GB in older DX11 titles. whereas the 4060 Non-Ti should have an advantage in newer DX12 and Ray Tracing titles.

im almost 100% sure the sales of the 7600 will be stupidly low as will the 4060 (the 4060 is just made to sell the 16gb 4060 nothing more ) people will and should buy last gen AMD with better vram cheaper prices or intel ARC 770 ..
OR
wait till AMD releases GPU's without the pathetic 8gb of ram !!

What I expected the 4000 series to be.. the 4090 delivered, anything else just failed. I hoped we would have the 6700XT for $200, the 6800XT for $400 and the 6950XT around $600... new. Prices already look like that second hand so, whatever. This gen no monies for NV or AMD, I'm going second hand

What a failure. 4060Ti should perform more like the older 3070(Ti) from previous gen graphics cards. Both the new and shiny and the older 3070 have same 8GB vram buffer. My 3070's 3DM Speed Way score is around 25% higher. Can't beat new and modern. New has to be better newer, LOOL

Same also with the rest of the 3DMark Suite benchmarks. 4060Ti . Not sure I will say this release is a huge failure or a real Joke. Put in what's fits. Nvidia sell software for fake frame boost nowadays. Hardware will come second or last. On top people will have to pay massive premium on HW that perform worse than 2 years old cards. The only good option from Nvidia this gen is the 4090. The rest is pure overpriced scam.

New and shiny....

This is just disgusting. If you live in a tax hell as I then add 25% on top of already overpriced cards. And if you want the so called better custom cards then add 100$ on top + tax. RTX 4060 Ti custom card with 16GB vram will for me cost near $650 or close to the 3080 nvidia suggested $699 price point. Nice, for a xx60 card.

The $1,600 RTX 4090
The $1,200 RTX 4080
The $800 RTX 4070 Ti
The $600 RTX 4070
The $399 RTX 4060 Ti 8GB (coming May 24) or $499 RTX 4060 Ti 16GB (July 2023)
The $299 RTX 4060 (coming July 2023)

And don't let me start talk about the Red sides offering (RX 7600). That will be even a worse deal. Yep, we live in sad times. Screwed by greed and scam.

Comparing 4060Ti with 3060Ti
Timespy +14.2%
Timespy Extreme +9.8%
Speed Way +7.6%
Firestrike +13.8%
Firestrike Extreme +10.4%
Firestrike Ultra +1.6%

Assuming these are 8GB figures for both cards I guess it's not awful if you can genuinely get a 8GB card for $399 as that is the price the 3060Ti's are going for so it is ~10% more performance for the same price. Somewhat underwhelming given how much additional performance is at the top end of the stack. I doubt the 16GB card will have different figures on these synthentic benchmarks so it's $100 premium will look even worse here (I'm sure nVidia will find the examples of when it makes a difference), but I think they may have to drop the differential to $50 to sell those cards in any volume.

$470 (or about $500 after tax) for an ENTRY LEVEL gaming card...That is absolutely insane...

Entry level? That is the narrative that nvidia want you to believe. If you play at 1080p (which is considered as entry level right now) cards like RX6600XT already very fast. No need to spend $400+ for cards like this.

Been burned to many times, so no sorry. Maybe if they get a couple more launches AND there drivers right. But they need to ALSO catch up on performance and features. Neither of which I see happening anytime soon.

Since the Introduction of Ray Tracing in PC Games, I miss affordable VGA Card like the GTX 750 TI and 1050 TI which both of them do not need additional PCI Express power connector to get a good gaming experience.
