Okay, so for the past 4 days or so, I've been experiencing insane packet loss only in the game "Rust". To provide some details, my specs are as follows;
GTX 1070
i7-7700 3.6GHz
16GB RAM
I've never had any sort of lag (ping/fps) before, so i really doubt it's my computer + it only happens on rust. And I'm hard wired so it's not a wifi problem. Internet specs(?) are// 150 download / 30 upload speed. Speedtest gives me 143 download, 17 upload and 14 latency. I've tried everything ranging from new ethernet cords, to restarting modem for 24 hours. Nothing. The only clue i might have is that someone told me to get a modem and router separate, my internet provider provides me a "gateway" which I guess is a combination of them both? Anyways I just really want to get this resolved. Any help is majorly appreciated.
