[SOLVED] RX 6700xt on old mobo

Hi I bought an asrock rx6700xt And put it into my dx58so with Xeon w3690 Powered by an modern 850W be quiet straight power 11 platinum.
Mobo is starting it react on unplugged power on gpu or ram unplug after clear cmos it runs like always first cpu fan on full speed and after post slowing fan (mobo runS like everything Is ok) but ....
There’s black screen on monitor i used display port and hdmi no difference.

question is does mobo support pci-e 3.0 and does gpu support pci-e 2.0

PCIe is forwards and backwards compatible. It shouldn't matter which PCIe version the slot or the device is.

Though to answer your question, the motherboard has PCIe 2.0 according to the spec sheet.
