Hi,
I have a old XFX RX 480 4gb, that i took back off the shelf to put in a new build. Last time it was used there were no issues.
But this time around there is blackscreen flickering. It seems to get triggered at either 100% usage or 60c+. The flickering are with either miliseconds or seconds between.
Testet with a 750w psu and a 650w, with the issue on both.
Testet in a ASrock z97 and a Aorus z390 same issue.
Testet with newest and a few older drivers.
Tried underclocking it with no succes.
Tried overclocking it with no succes.
Testet with different cables with no succes.
The only thing that seem have a effect, is putting the GPU max voltage to +20%, with this setting the flickering occurs less frequent and is actually semi useable.
I have seen many faulty cards in my life, but not one that acts this way.
Should i concider it faulty? Or does anyone have any suggestions for further testing? What does it mean that it kinda works with more power?
