Question rx6600xt upgrade to rtx3070?

Hello, guys. Ive been using amd for a while, and Im kind of lost when it comes to nvidia technologies. Im planning to upgrade my RX 6600 XT to a 3070, but is it really worth it? most newer games seem to depend on Frame Generation, and the 3000 series doesnt support it

3070 is better from 6600xt

I think for them money I’d also look at the Intel arc b580.

yes, im going second hand, but isnt kinda pointless to go for intel or nvidia if im going to rely on fsr and amd frame generation anyway? or am i missing something

It's up to you. The 3070 is a slightly stronger card but the 8gb of vram can hold it back. Another card you might look at as well is the rx 6700xt and the 6750xt as they would have competed with the 3070 but still had the 12gb vram. Not that the 3070 was a bad card but that 8gb vram could limit you sooner or later.
