3070 is better from 6600xtHello, guys. Ive been using amd for a while, and Im kind of lost when it comes to nvidia technologies. Im planning to upgrade my RX 6600 XT to a 3070, but is it really worth it? most newer games seem to depend on Frame Generation, and the 3000 series doesnt support it

If u r not going for second hand, I wud suggest b580.
yes, im going second hand, but isnt kinda pointless to go for intel or nvidia if im going to rely on fsr and amd frame generation anyway? or am i missing somethingI think for them money I’d also look at the Intel arc b580.
You can find used 6800xt/7800xt
Thanks for responding again! yes, Im aware that I have those options, the RX 6700 XT is even cheaper than the 3070. However, my question mainly focuses on the 3070 because of DLSS. Since the 3000 series doesnt support NVIDIA’s frame generation, I dont understand the point of this card and why it’s so popular right now. Why should I go for NVIDIA if Im going to end up using FSR and AMD’s frame generation instead? I mean i know there are some games that allow you to use DLSS+AMD frame gen, like Tsushima and Stalker2 i believe, but they are few, and there are no guarantees that every new game will let you do that. Also can check the rx 6800 non xt . I’ve got a 6800xt myself and from benchmarks it will pretty well run neck and neck with a 7800xt, which is a competitor to the nvidia rtx 4070.
