some days ago I built a pc with my friends right, it all went smoothly, pc works just fine and it runs pretty much everything I have easily
after installing windows 10 pro, I decided that I should first download drivers for my gtx 1050 ti with GeForce experience. I did that, went perfectly, then I decided to update my mobo's bios, I went for the latest release obviously and that also went just fine
then I decided that I should overclock my cpu for even better results from 3.1ghz to 3.7ghz which normally should be accessible by everyone without changing voltage or anything else
I went to bios, advanced settings, oc mode, tried changing the cpu ratio to 37.00 but whenever I press enter or backspace my pc restarts and goes back to the bios automatically, with my overclock settings gone too.
I messed around trying to change other values too like the voltage and what not but the same thing happens
I watched a video of some guy overclocking the exact same cpu on the exact same motherboard and he managed to make it look like it was nothing, he changed the cpu ratio to 37.00 with no crashes after whatsoever and the settings actually saved.
Why am I having this problem, then? (although one thing I did notice is that his cpu voltage was a bit different than mine for some reason even though I didn't change anything at all, nor can I because it restarts)
