Question Ryzen 5 2600 EDC 99% idle

My new cpu ryzen 5 2600 shows that edc is at 99% when idle i tried changing power plan from ryzen power plan to windows power balanced but nothing changed i also tried reinstalling ryzen master but it doesnt help

Try reseting the CMOS or just go into the BIOS and set it to Optimized Defaults and see if that helps.
I'm guessing that you were playing with Ryzen Master trying to OC which is probably the initial cause of your issue.

Check the minimum processor power state in the power plans if at 90%
lower it to 5-10 %.

What is CMOS and i wasn't playing around with OC
And minimum proccesor power state is at 5%

Are you sure you aren't looking at the system idle process? This means your computer is idling.

How do i close thread i fixed it by going to performance and energy and putting the thing in the middle instead of best performance but thanks for the help anyway
