Question Ryzen 5 3600 idle temp, should I reapply thermal paste?

So my build is about 5 years old and I'm starting to get back into checking what possible upgrades might be, but for right now I'm just getting 32gb of ram to keep up since dual monitors and mw3 uses about 13gb. But it also got me thinking to check whether the current setup is running as it should. When checking ryzen master idle temp with about 5% usage is 36° C with the ambient temp being about 21°C. While playing MW3 on med/high settings when it was 90% usage it was just under 60° then it dropped to 45% usage and was about 52°. Its running on a corsair 360mm aio and on thermal grizzly kryonaut paste, the paste is abouy 4 years old right now, are there temps within norm to leave things as is, should I reapply the paste or would it not be worth the hasstle? Seems like they are still close to when new. Also its not over clocked running on stock settings.

A repaste shouldn't be much of a hassle though yes, it's possible that the paste is now crusty. Would also be a good opportunity to inspect the CPU and cooling plate's contact/thermal paste spread.

Although temps with that combo should be somewhat lower they are still within reason. Don't know what exact AIO you have but make sure the pump runs at full speed, specially at full load.

Make sure your AIO radiator is correctly mounted. If it's installed vertically behind the front panel and the hoses are at the top, above the level of the block, the pump might be sucking on a pocket of air, trapped at the top of the radiator (highest point in loop).

well it is mounted there in a push/pull config.

So just checked in iCUE and the pump was set to "quiet" fans increase with temps, i guess I'll turn that up to balanced and see how much of a change that can do. Quiet kep the rpm at ~1100 on balance it bumped it up to ~2100. Actual coolant temp is sitting at 28.5° C at idle.

So I did more testing and found that althought my fan curve seemed good but it was going off of the coolant temp as the sensor. Basically the fans wouldn't speed up at all because the first interval was 28°C and then 32°C and the coolant temp won't really go above that. I changed things around and not the fans spin up base on the cpu temp, with this I hear them changing speeds a lot more often. It hovers around 1000-1200 rpm now. While gaming temps were about 49-50°C so a couple degrees lower, same for idle 34-35. I think it seems fine for now, being under 50 doesn't seem bad whie gaming.
