Specs

Asus B550-F Gaming Wifi II
Ryzen 5600
H100X AIO Cooler 240
Corsair Vengeance RT RGB 32GB 4x same ID CMxxx except W for white as the new kit is white.

Okay so built this system then added an extra 2x8GB of same RAM but white. All smooth at first, went into BIOS and the DOCP had set itself to 3602MHZ and 32GB detected. I found afterwards through CPUZ the white kit was 'Micron Technology' whilst the gunmetal original gunmetal is 'SK Hynix' will this cause me any issues?? ALL SINGLE RANK DIMMS
Now my problem/confusion is no utility app on windows 10 will show 4 DIMMs and CPUZ SPD tab for example doesnt show the 4th only 3 DIMMS AIDA64 same,

Anyone shed any light it only seems to be through windows apps that Im having these issues another example HWmon detects the 3 DIMMs not the 4 ?

it isn't the "same RAM" if it has different memory chips. It may look exactly the same, but as the software shows, the actual "chip" that is used in those sticks are different. (this is like mixing RAM sticks from different brands, but not that straightforward)

It could cause issues, or maybe wont. no one can tell for sure, since its mixed RAM. There is a probability of lost/degraded performance by this, though.

Q: Does it show as 32GB in task manager? If so, it should use it, but not guaranteed. It may show as 32GB but, when it comes to using that space, you might encounter issues.

Its always recommended to use identical RAM sticks to avoid such issues. Identical in the sense, RAM that came together. They are bound to work, rather than mixing RAM and hoping it will.

The only time "same RAM" counts is when they come in the same box.
Not even "identical" if bought as 2 different sets.

Same box.
Runs on the 3602 DCOP so sal good. Also shows as Dual channel in CPUZ due to version swap from ROG, so that was just a software issue. It shows in BIOS obviously and runs at 1799MHZ generaly.
So yh its like it ghosts me through apps, its detected on the whole just when i select its SPD tab etc which it does normallly this would be void its just blank very strange

Its defo not causing any issues or performance loss just a wierd glitch!
