Hi guys!
I'm from India and new to this forum. I'm planning to upgrade my pc build. I do architectural models in and walkthrough rendering. I am confused between ryzen 5 3600x and ryzen 7 2700x. Should I consider more cores and threads of 2700x (higher TDP - 105W) or newer 7nm architecture and low TDP -95W of 3600x. Price of both processors here in India is almost same. I'm not into games, just productivity(Gaming may be once a month when bored!). Anyone please guide me in choosing the right processor for my work.

Thanking in advance.

AS Lutfij says, the 3700X would be a better pick. However, if price is the driver then, for me (other opinions will vary), I'd rather the 2 extra cores/4 extra threads of the 2700X over the higher IPC of the 3600X if it's purely a productivity play.

hi i would suggest you should check the programmes you use,and see if they are core dependent., if so then the 7 2700x would be best, if not. then. its down to personal preference. you can game on the 7 2700x, the 5 3600x just has access so slightly higher memory speed... either will give you good perfromance
