[SOLVED] Ryzen 7 3700X 45C idle temps

As the title says, I am getting 45C idle temps on my Ryzen 7 3700X with a Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi cooler (according to CoreTemp and CAM). What should I do?
I haven't tried reapplying thermal paste yet but I doubt that would cause a 10 - 20C drop.

In the summer, it is quite common to have 45C idle temps on Ryzen as Ryzen idles hotter than Intel CPUs usually.

My 1700X paired with a H100i V2 liquid cooler idles around the 42C range in the summer time. So it makes perfect sense that yours is 45C.

Don't worry about it, 45C is way below the 80ish Celsius safe temps anyways.

What's your temperature when under load? If your at 75C or under, you are good.

10 -15c over ambient temperature is quite normal, it's maximum temps you have to worry about.

Okay. My under load temps get to 70C but drop back down to 60C as time goes on at full load (because I have an air cooler).
