Question Ryzen 7 5800X high temps after BIOS update ?

So a few weeks ago i flashed my BIOS to a newer version and ever since then I have noticed that my Ryzen 7 5800x temps are a lot higher now. It idles at around 50° C, and when it goes to 20% utilization the temps will spike to 80° C.

Is this normal of should I be concerned?

Mobo: MSI X570 Gaming Plus with Bios version F14 (Z370PD3.F14)
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x73

F14 should be used on gigabyte, also Z370PD3.F14 is a Z370 board , while the mobo you list is X570, so which is which?

Try to uninstall the chipset driver first with no internet (download this driver first), then reboot after it) then update to this bios and update the chipset driver given above.

I updated the chipset drivers yesterday and decided to update the bios to A.G0 just now

Just jump to the latest 1.2.0.7, it does have some fix for microstuttering issues.

its seems to have worked. idle temps are now around 38 to 45.

i did have a point where my windows 10 slowly froze. i could move the mouse and some programs didn't respond anymore some did and the shutdown for windows didn't work anymore.

don't know if this is related or something else
