Question Safari (Google) Search

How do I turn off Safari (Google) Search suggestions? I am mostly concerned about the unwanted photos popping up while I am doing a search. I looked at a few things but they are not working.

This is for using Google within Safari. This is not for using Google Chrome.

Why are you using google on safari just get google then follow these instructions:

Thank you for your message. I prefer to use Safari. I don't like google chrome.

Then use safari to search instead of google. Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to turn it off without having google chrome itself. You can try turning of safari search suggestions.

It doesn't appear that Safari has its own search engine.

I'll wait to see if someone come up with an answer. It only happened since the last update.

If you change search engines, does the behavior change?

Google has always simply worked well. I did try Firefox and unchecked the suggest search settings. Still does the auto suggest.

Maybe enough people will complain about it and Google will change the default.
