how about incest? is there incest? if there aint then they arent being true to star wars universe, and giving us something that shouldnt even be in star wars instead.

Although many won't admit it, heterosexual men tend to have fantasies about homosexual women. Seeing as how video games are fantasies it makes good finical sense to incorporate as many fantasies in games as possible, like being a jedi or experiencing a lesbian relationship. I sincerely don't believe that it was a 100% homosexual male minority pushing for this content. I'm sure many were but I'd put money on the majority being heterosexual men wanting to indulge their sexual fantasies in the star wars world. Lastly 8 billion people on this planet a small but noticeable percentage are homosexual. Dozens if not hundreds of planets in the star wars universe filled with humans, numbering in the hundreds of billions and we make the assumption that none of them are gay based on the documented stories of what; at most 200 characters? Homosexuality wasn't a part of the star wars story, but neither was any character being played in swtor. Just because something wasn't a part of the story doesn't mean that it wasn't a part of the world at large.The only reason I would object to adding this kind of content would be if they were changing the story, ie Luke and Solo get married type of deal. Otherwise why not try to attract as many players as possible?[/citation]

Actually in the long run diversity is rewarded. The reason sex existes is to ensure that there are freaks in the population to potentially drive the species next developments.

Also I really don't undestand why you seem defend against homosexually by using evolution as scientific answer agsinst it. Evolution does not favor humans, morality, or god's will. Heterosexuality is no more significant unless it can produce results.

I'l tell ya what. How about all the homosexuals start their own country and after a few decades they can check their population growth. As in "reproducing results". In the meantime I do believe the heterosexuals will be "producing results" in the population dept.
 
theoretically the need for females and males can be eliminated either through evolution or science. DNA is DNA, it doesn't matter if a sperm or egg that deliver it. If I were to get a sperm, remove its nucleus, and put it into an egg I could put a sperm into the egg. Also just because heterosexually is the norm which allows the population to be sustained what happed to what we call love and being created in the image of god rather than a machine? Isn't that what religious people say what sets us apart from animals? By excepting concepts of natural selection, reproduction, you destroy the importance of divinity since all becomes mechanical.

DA2 ahd amssive ammounts of gay guy action , very little strait action for girl or guy cahrs and next to no girl on girl action . i was like WTF , ever guy NOPC is hitting my my male char and i ahve no way to say "hey dude i'm strait" with otu tolaly pissing them off WFT is wrong with BW. seriously if they keep up this crap with gay romances overwhelming the number of normal romances i'm gonna stop palying there games altogether . and this is not becasue im ahomophobe , i'm totally not really. to me it's a matter of realism in a gmae enviroment. again using teh DA2 example , its a dark ages/ medival world , and nearly ever guy noc is gay ??? seriously , in the real world thy burned f---ers over that crap in our middle ages. even today , gays are definitely teh MINORITY not every other guy ro girl you meet. christ
 
I used to go to an IHOP late at night after all the bars and strip clubs closed up shop. I typically went by myself. Every time I went, there was at least one homosexual person hitting on me. I was polite and cordial like I had been taught to be. After a little while though, guess what Bioware, I got tired of it and stopped going.

Don't overwhelm us with homosexuality in video games, please? Put an option in the configuration to enable/disable homosexual content. I used to be stalked by a homosexual male. He hit on me at the junior college we were attending. He found out where I worked, and started showing up daily, it was a cigarette shop and he was a non-smoker. Then the worst happened. It turned out he lived on my street like 5 houses down. Now I had this horrible feeling in my gut every time I had to leave the house because his house was right before the gate into the community.

The point is I can be tolerant, but only up to a certain point. Bioware, can you really risk it to find out what people can or cannot tolerate?

As for the evolution thing... ikyung, please be quiet, you don't know what you're talking about. You've looked at the "breeding" aspect of evolution, rather than at the mutation part aswell.

I like to type. Anyway, people express interest in having additional romance options and its a good thing, but when others express the interest in the option to disable it, its a bad thing.

I posted that comment above nearly verbatim on SWTOR thread that was a poll for who wanted a toggle, didn't want, didn't care. Mods deleted it lol... I guess the part about STDs was overboard? IDK. 😀
