I have built a new computer but it is not working at the install the OS stage. As the title says, my motherboard's bios is not showing my NVME. I tried to unplug the NVME and plug it back in just in case it was loose or something, but it was not. I cannot try a different port on the motherboard, because the one it's plugged into (m2a_cpu) is the only one with a heatsink. In bios, when looking at the "plug in devices info" tab, m.2 slot info reads:
M2A : N/A
M2P : N/A
M2Q : N/A
and when attempting to run windows boot manager from a usb, the device is not detected as a drive, even after downloading the device drivers onto the same usb. I'm not sure what to do next to get my computer working, as i am unfamiliar with bios settings and have not encountered issues like this before. Other articles i encountered have been entirely unhelpful so far.

Solution
I figured it out- just in case someone sees this in the future. The BIOS version needed updated, Then windows detected the NVME. For some reason the first version of the z690 UD DDR4 doesn't detect them. But it's working!
