[SOLVED] Samsung 970 evo plus M.2

I just bought an M.2. Never had one before, and I noticed they don’t come with a screw. My motherboard is an Asus Prime Z270-A it looks like my board comes with standoffs preinstalled, and I don’t know where the box for my board is or what kind of screw I need to get. If someone could check if my board has stand offs preinstalled for an m.2, and what kind of screw I need for it that would be amazing and very helpful

The screw should already be on the motherboard, probably in the correct location for a 2280 M.2 drive.

Manual says different.. I've got an ASUS board myself, and had one before, they always come separate as far as I remember.

Thank you I just bought that pack! However I’m not sure if the standoffs are preinstalled And I don’t want to try and install a stand-off into a stand-off or screw it in with no stand-off there

You can readily tell if a standoff is already on there.

Alright last question I forgot to add. My board has 2 slots for M.2s one above the graphics card, and another below the graphics card (see page 39 of the manual for visual) is there any difference between the two spots like is one faster or just preference? I also notice there are 2 slots (top and bottom) which slot should it go in the bottom one or the top? Any difference?
