That logic is about as logical as saying you won't ever watch Tiger Woods play golf again because he cheated on his wife. Or won't buy Apple products because Tim Cook looks funny.

You're not twelve (right?!?!?). It's a business. You buy the best products that works for you, not whether the company won/loss lawsuits. If your standards are so high, you won't be buying ANY products because they are all manufactured in China via slave labour.

Analogy fail. You seem unaware that "business" dropped tiger woods in Wood's real revenue stream, product endorsements, for valid business reasons.
Exactly what is wrong with consumers acting in their self interest and not funding patent troll activity by Apple which damages innovation and will increase costs to consumers?

Most apple buyers are not buying tech, they are buying brand, and the value of that brand isn't in being innovative, since apple has been one step behind. so a drop in brand chic of apple as it becomes increasingly seen as craven and depending on limiting others to maintain market share. instead of advancing itself, is a loss of value for those consumers.
