Samsung blu ray

Hello,
I have a samsung bluray player and it is playing normal dvd's but when I put in a bluray it spits it back out. I have a samsung BD-C5300 any answers ?

BD transport failure. These players use different lasers for BD and DVD/CD so even when the BD laser fails it will still play DVD's/CD's. Sounds like your BD drive/laser has failed and will need to be replaced. You should contact samsung and see if they are willing to cover it under warranty (if it's still under warranty). If not and they insist you have to pay for it, I would look for another player (not worth fixing at your own expense IMO).
