[SOLVED] samsung g5 settings locked

Hi.. so i recently bought a samsung odesssey g5, first one i got was doa(ded on arrival)...
second one i got home worked fine, until i enabled freesync, then screen just went black and never came back.
now i want to go into settings and reset to default settings, but problem is: it actualy doesnt reset...

all settings are grey so cant change a thing, and reset to default doesnt change that fact.
also it shows "picture mode: custom", stays custom even after reset.

anyone heard about this before?

If options are greyed out then you've locked the menu. Generally on Samsungs you just hold the Menu button in for 10 full seconds. The screen usually goes blank while you're pressing it in, just keep pressing it for the full 10 seconds.
